Mar | Little Heroes Health Journey @ MMC

On 28 March, Eyecon collaborated with Mahkota Medical Centre (MMC) in an event supporting children’s health and vision. We provided complimentary vision and eye health screenings for participating children, promoting early detection and raising awareness on the importance of eye care from a young age.

Feb | Donation to Rumah Sejahtera Bkt Baru

In conjunction with Chinese New Year, our team carried out a community outreach initiative by donating groceries and essential items to an elderly home. This effort reflects our ongoing commitment to giving back to the community and spreading positivity during the festive season

Oct | Karnival Kesihatan @ SK Taman Merdeka

Eyecon participated in the Karnival Kesihatan organized by SJAM Melaka and Parlimen Kota Melaka at SK Taman Merdeka as part of our corporate social responsibility initiative, providing eye health screenings using advanced retinal imaging technology with AI-assisted interpretation.

We appreciate the opportunity to contribute to community health and promote awareness on the importance of early detection and regular eye care.

Jun | Study Visit by Singapore Polytechnic

On 18 June, we had the pleasure of hosting Dr Tan Li Li and 30 students from Singapore Polytechnic during their study visit to Malaysia.

With the support of Dr Sendhil, the session offered valuable insights into how optometry centres collaborate with hospital ophthalmology teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.

We are proud to support the growth of future optometrists and nurture the next generation of eye care professionals.

Feb | Touched by Hope @ St Francis Church

On 8 Feb 2025, Eyecon took part in the “Touched by Hope Program”, a community health event focused on early detection and preventive care. We provided free eye screenings to the community alongside other health services.

It was a fulfilling morning spent supporting early detection and raising awareness on the importance of regular health checks — especially for eye health.

On 15 December 2024, Eyecon participated in a community event organized by Seck Kia Eenh, emphasizing the importance of good eye health and early detection of eye conditions.

Nov | World Diabetes Day 2024 with MMC

In conjunction with Diabetic Eye Disease Awareness Month, Eyecon partnered with Mahkota Medical Centre during their World Diabetes Day 2024 event to raise awareness about the link between diabetes and eye health.

Nov | Healthcare Awareness for Diabetes

On 10 November, Eyecon collaborated with the Rotary Club of Kota Famosa at Healthcare Awareness for Diabetes event, providing vision screenings to support early detection of diabetic eye complications and promote regular eye check-ups.

Sep | Relay for Life 2024

On 19 Sep, Eyecon hosted 20 cancer survivors from the National Cancer Society of Malaysia for comprehensive eye exams and sponsored spectacles, highlighting the importance of vision health in cancer care. Through this initiative and an interview with our CEO, Datuk Murphy Chan and Head of Professional Service, Dylan Leng, we emphasized the role of regular eye screenings in supporting recovery and enhancing quality of life.

Aug | Blood Donation @ Chinese Methodist Church

Eyecon participated in the blood donation event hosted by the Chinese Methodist Church, providing vision screenings to participants and coordinators to support community health.

Jul | Program Kesihatan Kem Terendak

Eyecon participated in the Program Kesihatan Kem Terendak, offering vision screenings and sharing essential eye care tips to promote better eye health among communities.

Jun | Public Health Talk @ Melaka Cancer Society

On 29 June 2024, Eyecon collaborated with Pantai Hospital and the Melaka Cancer Society in a public health event, providing eye tests and raising awareness about regular eye check-ups and early disease detection.

Vision Adoption Program (VAP)

VAP is an ongoing CSR initiative that delivers primary eye care services to rural and underserved schools across Selangor, Melaka, and Negeri Sembilan. The program includes on-site vision screenings and provides free spectacles to underprivileged students in need.

It reflects Eyecon’s commitment to equal access to eye care, helping children overcome vision barriers that affect their learning and development.

July | WhiteFlag Campaign with Essilor

Eyecon Melaka responds to the #BenderaPutih or #WhiteFlag initiative!

It is a great opportunity for Eyecon to collaborate this initiative with Essilor Malaysia. We have identified 20 deserving individuals comprised of children and senior citizen for this #Whiteflag initiative. They will be given a free pair of single vision spectacle each in this campaign, which is held from 1st July 2021 to 31st July 2021.

5 May | Jom Ke Sekolah 2021 Q2

Another 100 primary & secondary school students from the B40 group received a pair of glasses with proper optometric vision screening through the collaboration project “Jom Ke Sekolah 2021 Quarter 2” between MBMB and Eyecon Group.

We wish all the students best of luck in their studies and life with good vision.

100 students received a pair of glasses with proper optometric vision screening through the collaboration project “Jom Ke Sekolah 2021” between MBMB and Datuk Murphy Chan, CEO of Eyecon Group.

All screening was conducted at Eyecon Ayer Keroh and Melaka Raya optometry centre. Students from primary and secondary schools were chosen from the B40 group, through the Melaka Education Department.

Dec | Madrasah Anak Yatim Darul Aitam

A visit to Madrasah Anak Yatim Darul Aitam in Telok Mas Melaka is too meaningful and touching. Eyecon shared safety tips on safety SOP on Covid-19 and also handy tips on eye care by the CEO, Datuk Murphy Chan.   Eyecon believes beside personal contribution, personal interaction with care and support will strengthen and build confidence in every kids.  Together we fight Covid-19 for a safer and clearer future.

Aug | Rumah Seri Kenangan Cheng Melaka

Eyecon provided Intraocular Lens for Rumah Seri Kenangan Cheng Melaka. Eyecon delivered the package to their residents whom require to undergo cataract surgery in the hospital. Each package consists of IOL and a pair of protective polarized fitover was given.

Eyecon proudly donated spectacles to the orphans from SKE Mudita Home in Melaka as part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the community and promoting eye health. 9 Nov | Mahkotal Medical Centre

It has never been better to give back to the community by sharing and creating awareness on the importance of great health. In conjunction with Diabetes Week, Eyecon was invited to provide screening to the public in one of the prestigious and well-known hospital – Mahkota Medical Centre.

FUNDUSCOPY screening is one of the instruments to detect abnormalities at back of the eye. All visitors are advised for annual vision comprehensive examination.

26 Oct | Lions Club International Global Causes Community Awareness Program

Eyecon has participated as one of the sponsors of Lions Clubs International Global Causes Community Awareness Program, to provide vision screening for children. The activity was taken place at Japerun Duyong, also featured at Bernama News Channel.

26 Aug | Merdeka & Malaysia Day CSR

In conjunction with Malaysia 62nd Merdeka and Malaysia Day celebration, Eyecon Group together with Masjid Sayyidina Ali Bukit Katil Melaka, has collaborated a CSR project for their senior citizen worshipers.
The event took place from 26th August – 8th September 2019 at Eyecon Optometry Ayer Keroh. A total of 10 senior citizen were given comprehensive vision examination and FREE prescription glasses.

26 June | Japerun Kuala Linggi

Eyecon proudly participated in the Japerun Kuala Linggi CSR program, offering free eye tests and spectacles to the local community. This initiative aimed to improve vision health and provide access to essential eye care services, ensuring that everyone can see the world clearly and comfortably.

23 May | Hotel Equatorial Melaka

Hotel Equatorial Melaka, Eyecon Group & Institut Wawasan Melaka (INSWA) hosted an annual collaboration CSR Program by inviting 139 orphans, 20 senior citizens, caretakers and committee members of individual homes to join in the ‘Majlis Berbuka Puasa’ at the Equatorial Hotel Melaka’s Grand Ballroom.

During the event, Eyecon also conducted vision screening and prescription glasses to the senior citizens. A video presentation on eye care tips was also given to the children.

21 Oct | World Sight Day

World Sight Day Campaign 2018 event organized by Lions Club International District 308-B1 Region 7 and Japerun DUN Duyong. Eyecon Mobile Vision team had an amazing and meaningful moments providing Diabetic Eye Screening and Glaucoma Screening for the Duyong community. The initiative fostered community well-being by promoting the importance of regular eye check-ups, ensuring that residents had access to quality eye care, and helping prevent vision loss in high-risk individuals.

30 May | Hotel Equatorial Melaka

An annual joined collaboration CSR program by Hotel Equatorial Melaka and Institut Seni Malaysia Melaka (ISMMA). This program has been running for the past 15 years during the fasting month of the Holy Ramadhan. A total of 4 welfare orphanage homes from Krubong, Bemban and Jasin that consist of 126 kids and also 20 members from the senior citizen of the Pengiat Seni Budaya were present. Eyecon Group was invited to host the kids activity and also to sponsors prescription glasses to the seniors.

13 May | SK Methodist (ACS) Melaka

Rotary Club Melaka organised a health awareness campaign in SK Methodist (ACS) Melaka. Eyecon participated in vision screening and Pfizer pharmaceutical for general health screening. The event emphasized the importance of both eye health and overall wellness, providing essential services and raising awareness about preventive health measures in a collaborative and community-focused environment.

7 Apr | St David’s High School Melaka

Eyecon Group Sdn Bhd participated in the St. David High School Fundraising Carnival with a distinctive approach to fundraising, centered on education and interactive games promoting eye health and safety. Rather than traditional fundraising methods, Eyecon created a fun and engaging environment that aimed to raise awareness about the importance of maintaining good vision, early detection of eye conditions, and preventing eye injuries.

Eyecon has conducted vision screening service to the communities at Bukit Beruang Melaka, in conjunction with the celebration of the Klinik One Medic’s anniversary. This initiative aimed to raise awareness about the importance of eye health and provide accessible eye care to the local community.

4 June | SJK(T) Merlimau

The Eyecon team visited SJK(T) Merlimau to conduct a comprehensive eye test program for the students, ensuring early detection of vision issues. Along with the screenings, the team also provided valuable eye care knowledge, educating students on the importance of maintaining eye health, proper eye care habits, and tips to prevent eye strain.

19 & 20 Apr | SK Ayer Keroh

Eyecon visited to SK Ayer Keroh focused on providing essential eye care services and knowledge to students. During the visit, professional eye tests were conducted to assess the vision health of the students, ensuring early detection of any potential issues. Special attention was given to blind students, where tailored activities such as the introduction of braille and blind text helped enhance their learning experiences.

16 Mar | Eye Health Screening & Talk – Presbyterian Community Hall Melaka

Eyecon was invited to provide eye health screening & talk program for 30 senior citizens at the Presbyterian Community Hall, Malim Jaya, Melaka. The program was organised by the AgapeCARE Ace Club Malim in the effort to create awareness on the importance of eye care among senior citizens. The program emphasized the need for proactive eye care, empowering the senior community to take charge of their vision health and well-being.
